Certification
Certification in sensory integration means not only the competence to administer and score the standardized Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT), but the ability to accurately identify problems in sensory integration and an evidence-based framework for contributing to the diagnostic process and for forming practical solutions
Years of experience
Over 16 years of experience brings advanced clinical reasoning, knowledge and skills in many practice settings and with all ages. Portability: we go to the client, either at home, school, work or the site of the existing agency
Clinical background
Extensive clinical background in providing mental health services and working with children and adolescents and people of all ages, means having the ability and skills needed to work with "hard to treat" clients, and the confidence to address behavioral challenges that others might not know how to address
Fee for service
Fee for service means lower costs: to individuals because of less overhead and administrative costs in managing paperwork and to agencies because of not paying/justifying a full salary or paying benefits
